I had trouble getting the Team Maverick One patch to work with Portable 3rd HD, since I had trouble finding and apply the patch, I'd figure I'd release an easier method. It is for the HD version, at least that's what I tested it with as it's known to work better with PPSSPP (it's also the only copy of the game I own), if it's works on the PSP version too, then that's great!

===Unnecessary part of comment begins=== As for preferences, P3rd is my favorite iteration of the 3rd gen. I have 3U on the 3DS and even a circle pad pro but I feel like it was a step backwards in so many ways, part of it being that I don't like underwater combat and P3rd removed that; other things include me not liking shakalakas over felyne comrades, P3rd also had this beautiful village and god-tier farm, 3U went back to the village and farm of Tri and it just felt like the same game (Tri) all over again but with more content.

I've also played the WiiU version of 3U and the lag and frame drops on it are horrible. Probably the biggest reason why I'm playing P3rd again right now would be that I'm using PPSSPP to play it online with a friend that's new to the franchise, MHFU might be a bit too hard for him, especially since I haven't beaten that one yet either. P3rd looks great, it's not too hard for a newbee, and most importantly. MEGA BBQ SPIT.

For portable playing I'd love to have P3rd on my Vita but I can't do that (LCD model with latest firmware), I do however have a legit download of MHFU on there and I don't have to deal with the claw cramping my hand (I seriously struggle to get through a quest or two on my PSP) or the bulk of the 3DS XL + CPP.
