That only solved one cause of freezes, which has since been fixed in the emulator. I did apply Rudolfs patch to it in the beginning, and that fixed basically. Desmume has had ap fixes built in for quite a while (better emulation).

Hey im playing Heart Gold on Desmume, but several times it freezes or goes all black screen. I've tried to google it, however it didnt help me much. Now what should i do to resolve this problem? If theres a method please tell me, also i would love instructions;) as goes for No$gba, it cant load my file?

Best Answer: make sure you are getting it from this site. GO into emulation settings and if you are using the JIT dynamic recompilier, try lowering the block size. Also maybe try turning it off completely (will make the emu alot slower if you dont have good cpu). There shouldnt be much other settings you need to change. Leave the rest default, other then settings you know what they change and things for controls/hotkeys.

The rom dump you have may be bad aswell. Try re-dumping it, or if you downloaded it go to another source. Also know pokemon games have anti-piracy built into them, so you will need to patch the rom dump or your pokemon will not gain any exp. Midas civil software crack software.
