But I guess the patches worked a miracle, because its just full of tactical combat goodness. Just don't expect a deep storyline! Quoted for great justice. The combat is just a treat, and there is a ton of shit in the game that just isn't there in NWN.

TOEE + official patch 2.0 + circle of eight unofficial patch = best D&D 3.5 CRPG ever /me wishing for a Baldur 3 with the TOEE engine And TOEE storyline is a bit short but a lot of quests are hidden if you don't have a party memebr with diplomacy/bluf/inimidation and other 'talking' skills. This was the mod I was talking about, for some reason I was thinking it was for POR.So where can I pickup TOEE for cheap? I knew someone would know the answer.even if I don't know what the heck I'm talking about. I tried, really I TRIED HARD to get back and finish this game after all the patches came out. But after playing for a few minutes I almost went comatose due to boredom. Codebreaker budokai tenkaichi 3 sles-54945. The dungeons are monotonous and boring, the enemies move at a glacial pace and the whole experience is just very plain. I'd skip it and get ToEE instead like others have suggested, wonderful game and made even better by the patches and mods. Amazing combat engine, a little lacking in the story department but still an overall excellent D&D roleplaying experience.

I think Troika should just hire a team of programmers dedicated to recreating all the classic Greyhawk modules with this engine. With the engine fixed, the story already written, 'all' you would need to do is the artwork.it didn't take them long to crank this game out from scratch. Maybe a new mod every 6 months or so.like expansion packs. Probably didn't make enough money to justify it though.how well did this game sell anyhow?
