I just tested. It's working flawlessly with Windows7 32 bit:) @Gord, The compufly including usb to serial converter chip (CP2102) and OS finding it as a serial port. You dont need DirectX for using it, some simple serial commands enough. You got 2 option for controlling your plane. You can plug it on your transmitter's trainer port or connect directly to transmitter module's ppm input without using an RC transmitter body(direct ground station application).

Oct 11, 2011 •. @Gord I had my blinders on when setting everything up and failed to mention that you need to have a Compufly USB2PPM device from Flytron.com Melih created this device and the original opensource software. 
My new project is a port to Java from Delphi 7.
There have been some new features added and hopefully after some feed back we can flush out some bugs and make a list of more features to be added. I am excited I got the seal of approval from Melih and hope to hear back from those who have downloaded the source and program.

I use CompuFly software version 1.35 and JoystickToPPM But there is a problem: CompuFly software is limited to 7 chanels JoystickToPPM software don’t manage the POV button on top of joystick as CompuFly software (JoystickToPPM reset the position of the camera when we release POV button – CompuFly don’t reset camera position) It’s the reason why I need, if it’s possible, an evolution of JoystickToPPM, to don’t reset the camera position when I release POV button.
