OK, my friend also bought the brand new Asteroid but his GPS also died within 1 week! WHAT A CRAP USB GPS PARROT!!!:mad::mad: I love the Unit it is getting better everytime, but again shows me how crap the GPS unit is.
My friend already ordered the GlobalSat BU-353S4 USB GPS Receiver SiRF Star IV which is much better than the orginal unit. So Parrot, maybe its time te get rid of the distributor of the UPS GPS and get some decent GlobalSat BU-353S4 USB GPS Receiver SiRF Star IV UPS GPS reveivers. Since the new version 2.1.2. My USB GPS unit is beeing recognised. Instead of UNKNOWN it displays a long sentence.
