I think she has been relatively inactive in recent years, or at least publicly less visible. She was in her 20s when her first albums were released and is in her 40s now. You are correct that she has been harassed. A British documentary from a number of years ago had a segment about her in which she gave a rare (perhaps her only) interview with representatives of the Establishment, and permitted the filmmakers to follow her to a gig.
